Hi, Apache has once again been accepted as a mentoring organization for the Google Summer of Code[1]. Last year I mentored a student and enjoyed it a lot.
This year I won`t have the time to mentor a student alone. So if anyone would like to mentor a student this year please reply to this mail and I will give you any information I have to make this a smooth experience for you. The timeline for the GSoC[2] allows plenty of time to think of possible topics. I personally think the GSoC is a great program which should be supported if possible.
