Maybe my answer was not clear enough ;o)
However, as mentioned by [~rareddy], in the case that not all key predicates
are selected, the "Id" value must be set at the {{Entity}}.
The "fix" for this issue would (IMHO) to throw a meaningful
{{SerializerException}} instead of a NPE.
Because with no available "Id" value the serializer must throw an exception.
