Hi Christian, as mentioned before I can volunteer as release manager (for 2.0.9) if wished. After a short look on the open issues for 2.0.x I see not showstopper, so the 2.0.9 RC could be provided. Are there any objections or do somebody else see a showstopper issue? If not I would go ahead and create a release candidate.
