Hi Michael,

Thanks for your mail and opinion.

First of all, much material and examples pertain to older versions
of OLingo, and are out-of-date. This is really a shame, and costs
the Java-developer a lot of extra time when I want to get
OLingo version 4.5.0 running.

Yes, during the last years we missed to update the docs according to
the lastest development.

At the time the tutorials were created the server-side was the main
driver for the library. This was the main reason to start with the
server side. However, I completely agree that other have a different
view and providing client-side samples is necessary (and should be
perhaps the first step).

Will surely take a look (guess next weekend) but for now I would
already ask if it would be okay for you, that we link from the Olingo
documentation to your blog post?

Sure we will do but please expect that it will take some time, because
Olingo has a small community and we are just a few developers working
on the library (and most in spare time).

Thanks again for your input.

Kind Regards, Michael
