Publishing build artifacts is through svn. You will need to add your build artifacts to https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/<https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/release/pig>omid via svn once vote pass. This is also the download link you can publish to your website. All committers should have access to svn, let me know if you have trouble.
You will need to generate a new KEYS and add to source tree, and use it to sign the build artifacts. Pig release document describe how to generate KEYS and use it to sign your build, check https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/PIG/HowToRelease. Am I supposed to have ssh/scp access? Am I supposed to ask a PMC member to do it? We are ready to vote on Apache Omid (incubating) 0.8.2.0 RC0 Here is the git tag https://github.com/apache/incubator-omid/releases/tag/omid-0.8.2.0-rc0 here are the sources https://dist.apache.org/repos/dist/dev/incubator/omid/0.8.2-incubating-rc0/apache-omid-incubating-0.8.2.tar.gz I presume that I need to generate a new KEYS file with pgp, add it to the source tree and sign it all, the upload to dist. What is the best way to upload to dist?
