The current documentation for the
**oozie.service.HadoopAccessorService.hadoop.configurations** parameter is
difficult to understand :
See the section in docs/src/site/twiki/AG_HadoopConfiguration.twiki as a
reference.
- Its clear that it is meant to define configurations, but its **not** clear
why the syntax requires commas, regular expressions, and other such complex
features.
- Also it references specific ports of machines, again why is this required if
it is already referencing HADOOP_CONF_DIR which has files that define all
hadoop configuration info, including services/ports ?
So I suggest two files be patched here:
1) a patch to improve comments around
**oozie.service.HadoopAccessorService.hadoop.configurations**
docs/src/site/twiki/AG_HadoopConfiguration.twiki which is more readable and
accessible to oozie newcomers and fixed typos (although they are minor, this
very complex parameter needs perfect documentation, IMO).
2) Updated comment in core/src/main/resources/oozie-default.xml (this is
currently not too bad, although terse).
