Robert Kanter commented on OOZIE-1876:
--------------------------------------
The latest patch on RB looks fine to me. I tried playing around with it a bit
and it seems to work.
Because of the scope and nature of this patch, it would be good if some others
reviewed it too. [~rohini], [~chitnis], [~puru], or [~egashira], can some of
you take a look at this?
One other thing I just thought of now is that with this patch, you can now have
to recompile Oozie if you change Hadoop versions. Currently, you only have to
change which sharelib is installed (I'm not sure if this affects anyone else,
but we take advantage of this in CDH). In that sense, this change is backwards
incompatible. However, we'll eventually drop Hadoop 1 and Hadoop 0.23 support
and only support Hadoop 2, so in the long run, this is probably fine.
> use pom properties rather than specific version numbers in the pom files of
> hbaselibs, hcataloglibs, sharelib, etc
