[~rkanter], [~gezapeti] I've created another issue (OOZIE-3053) with simple
steps to reproduce it both in spark 1.6 as well as in spark 2.2.
it seems that empty spark.hadoop.mapreduce.application.classpath,
spark.hadoop.yarn.application.classpath which are by default in
/etc/spark2/conf/spark-defaults.properties for spark 2.2 are causing it.
