Hi, A tip, a vote is recommended to open 72 hours, just for making it more visible for more ppl, rather than surprising. But, it's not a must. Critical patch release could be out in hours, or some cases are approved by PMC.
This doesn't change this vote process, I just want you know in case of possible situations in the future.
