Yep, it's very possible to support attaching metadata during copy in OpenDAL (which means we can update the metadata for the new file). Would you like to create an issue for this? I can add more details there. As for tag support, I'm a bit concerned since it's not widely supported by other services. I'm open to discussion if someone wants to do research and propose a design for it.
