Got it resolved in r42648 upon upgrading the version of the jar to
2.3. Still unlucky though with:

Then, install it using the command:
mvn install:install-file -DgroupId=org.openejb -DartifactId=xstream \

Unless someone lends me a helping hand I don't think I'll be able to
