And in researching this, I found that our wonderful OpenLayers contributor Eric Lemoine already sent a patch to fix this 5 months ago: http://postgis.refractions.net/pipermail/postgis-devel/2007-March/002507.html I've followed up to this asking what the current status is. http://postgis.refractions.net/pipermail/postgis-devel/2007-August/002753.html In the meantime, I have no plans to make our GML layer support the particularly broken flavor of GML polygons that PostGIS spits out.
