Hi, We're looking to use the NCD module to replace the two modules we wrote to send SMS to patients and email alerts to clinical users and I had a few questions about the NCD module.
1. Does the module have a don't repeat alert, or how does it not send the same message multiple times if the criteria are met? For example, if a patient has a low CD4 count and it should send him an SMS 2 days after the result. The NCD module task runs every 4 hours, so it will run about 6 times during the day where all criteria are met. How does it not send 6 SMS? 2. For selecting the criteria for when a message should be used, why weren't the saved patient searches from the reporting compatibility module or the cohort queries from the reporting module used instead of developing a separate way? 3. Where is patient's email and cell phone stored? 4. What would be updates required to have it work in OpenMRS 1.9?
