Hi folks, I have posted a first release candidate for the Apache OpenNLP 2.5.12 release and it is ready for testing.
This is a maintenance release for the 2.5.x line. It fixes two locale-related correctness bugs - default-locale case folding no longer corrupts lemmatizer models and output (OPENNLP-1904) or breaks Morfologik dictionary lookup (OPENNLP-1905) - and hardens the EMAIL and URL patterns in RegexNameFinderFactory so they can no longer exhaust the stack (OPENNLP-1922, OPENNLP-1925). Cached models are now verified against their SHA-512 checksum (OPENNLP-1902). Two hot spots got faster: BeamSearch replaces per-candidate Sequence copies with chain nodes (OPENNLP-1903), and the sentence detector's abbreviation veto is no longer quadratic in document length (OPENNLP-1906). On the packaging side, the Maven Wrapper config is now part of the source archive (OPENNLP-1896, OPENNLP-1913), the line encoding for mwnd.cmd is fixed (OPENNLP-1915), and ONNX Runtime, classgraph, Maven Wrapper and Slf4j have all been updated.
