Yes because thats what the companies pay for. All the talks are paid by
companies.

I have written earlier, that it did not work out. They wanted me to pay for
everything, and even asked if I could bring my own projector. That of
course made me politely inform them that I am a volunteer and cannot use a
lot of money on such an event.

I suggested that they next year, ask the companies to pay a little more,
and use that on volunteers, just e.g. a lunch to signal respect of the
volunteers. That will be considered for next years conference.
