or submitting your code to the codesnippet project http://codesnippets.services.openoffice.org/ ?
Codesnippets is not the right place for such large projects like addons its here to show small programming exercises.
Currently we are discussing at the api-list an "OO-Extension-Manager" to install Addins/Templates/.... from a central web-repository. This would be the right place for a project Alex announced.
