Actually, OO.o is released under LGPL and SISSL (dual license) but not under GPL. And you are allowed to pick whichever license as you please as long as you abide by the terms of the respective license. IANAL, but it's my understanding that you are allowed to rebrand it under the SISSL, the same way Sun is allowed to rebrand and sell it as StarOffice.
