I believe I do everything called for in the instructions for building on wintel using cygwin. I run ./configure and get the right results.
Which switches to you use for configure? (If you use any.)
Which OOo version do you try to build? What is wintel? > I jump into tcsh (then get some
goofy Badly placed ()'s.
Can you be more precise what you mean with this?
When I type ./bootstrap, I get: cp: cannot stat `/cygdrive/c/downloads/openOffice/sdk1.9.109/SRC680_m109/dmake/d make.exe': No such file or directory
Please check if /cygdrive/c/downloads/openOffice/sdk1.9.109/SRC680_m109/dmake/dmake.exe exists or not. dmake should have been build by configure, unless you know what you're doing and can give a detailed diagnosis of the problem you should *always* provide the relevant output of the failing command. (Certainly more than one line.)
What might I be missing?
My crystal ball is broken, first of all you have to be very precise in your problem description. I suggest you open an issue, describe your problem there and attach the created winenv.set to that issue so that we can see what went wrong. -- If you like my work consider: http://www.scytek.de/donations.html PGP/GPG key (ID: 0x9F8A785D) available from wwwkeys.de.pgp.net key-fingerprint 550D F17E B082 A3E9 F913 9E53 3D35 C9BA 9F8A 785D
