The point with the user installations is the only one I'd care to address: I don't know how many reported bugs result from two dev builds using the same user installation (there definately are some). But we could easily eliminate those if a dev build would use a dedicated user directory, e.g. $(SYSUSERHOME)/.openoffice-680m170. As a canonic extension, I'd expect a CWS build to use something like $(SYSUSERHOME)/.openoffice-680m170-<cws_name>. I'd vote +1 for such a change :)

Your suggestion to have the userdirectory in the path is less error prone then my first suggestion (because access rights will be no problem and having multiple users on one installation will cause no problem also), so I take it :-).
