Actually the codes can't be simply removed or renamed but an alias
system is needed to be able to load documents that use sr-YU and sh-YU,
and to build resource files that use sr-CS if you don't want to change
all possible resources. The good news is that now that we upgraded to
ICU 3.6 the sr-RS should be known to ICU.

I'd be glad if you could contribute a working patch that solved the
