yes. The only point here was to show that kde was absent.
However that is unlikely to solve your problem. The most likely
solution as kendy said is that libvclplug_gen680ls.so is missing
symbols due to missing system libraries.
I do really believe this is true ;)
and I have asked the user to do the suggested tests.
Meanwhile, its seems for those of us who build outside the structured
environment of the distribution packagers, we should build on the oldest
possible linux installation.
Is that what Sun does?
