Hmm? Do you suggest that I, as the developer, just start the test, and
in case something goes wrong you, as the QA person, are responsible for
finding out *what* goes wrong, and stripping down the test case to a
short reproducible one? If so, what would we gain? If not, then I don't
understand what you say.
That's the point. In most cases the error messages are as good as the
messages in our Office (short joke). When it isn't possible to find the
error easily by interpreting the error message, then the Automators will
help to debug the situation and find the problem.
What we win in this situation is, that the developer know earlier if the
code changes bring in regressions or not. And it will be possible to run
these tests also in developing phase and not only at the end. But only
at the end the tests are mandatory. Also we win, that the resources are
not needed in the QA and not in Development. It is in between, it should
be only machine resources and power.
