yes thats correct.
And what about the en-US strings, the ones in the .src files which don't appear in localize.sdf, if there was a typo in one of those. Are changes to those ones done by entering into the translation database and then mirrored into the source or is the scheme of things...
If there is a typo you can just change that in the src file and check in! Every milestone all new or changed en-US strings from the master are imported into that database. We do that to track those strings.
master en-US string in .src files; check into source everything else; enter into translation database -> sync into source
