To whomever this concerns:
Would someone be kind enough to bundle up the OpenOffice.org Developer's
Guide for OOo 2.?.?... and send me a ftp or whatever location to
download it? The .tgz would be the preferred bundle format.
Requiring single page at a time downloads is !#%%$#!*&& (not good).
As for trying to search HTML document wide over the net, $$ !#%%$#!*&&
(also not good).
I limit my exposure to attack from the net by remaining offline except
to send/receive necessary things. Spending hours trying to track down
simple things in a fractured HTML is not profitable for anyone. I am
actually surprised that regular archive snap shots are not auto created
and made available. Most 'outsiders' have little need for the greatest
and latest. People of the world as a whole find something that works
and stick with it. Users of a tool are seldom the craftsman that created
it. Those who wish to automate their own office or arena of endeavor
will wish to address the tools in use in-house and let the
'bleeding-edge' go be whatever. In short, Production will seldom wish
to be the guinea pig. It cuts into the profits. UnderGrad Economics.
Mom and Dad's store front business. Common Sense.
Please.
