Hi Albert,
That sounds strange. A simple OOo basic test shows that there is no
problem with loading of a template using API calls you have used ( with
correct property name and value 4 ), the macros are executable afterwards.
Just to be sure that the macro execution mode is the problem, can you
execute the macros in "Tools/Macros/Organize Macros/OpenOffice basic..."
dialog?

"MacroExecutionMode", not "MacroExecMode".
