Hi Shameera, nice extension so far. What do you mean exactly with platform independent? As far as i can see it is implemented in Java.
Anyway a better and smoother integration in the office UI would be nice. I mean using the internal toolkit from the office and make it dockable etc.. I know it is more work and not so nice to use as Java directly but the integration in the office is definitely smoother and better. It would be a pleasure for me to help you where i can.
