My name is Nuno Oliveira, and me and my colleagues, we are enrolled in a project at University of Minho (Portugal), which consists in finding all the code related to the pivot tables (data pilot) operations in the calc tool. Then we want to extract and isolate that code to put it into a stand-alone 'tool' so we are able to test the performance of that code in several environmental contexts. The questions I make are the following: -- do you ever searched for that code or made similar searches? -- do you have any method to easily find that or other code (including tools for slicing or program comprehension in general)? -- can you give me some pointers, based on your experience, about where to search for documentation on the pivot code class?
