Strange, haven't seen this before. Though you don't have any special privileges in the DBA project in BugZilla, you should, as the submitter of the bug, be able to change nearly all aspects of it (except the assignee, as I just noticed - so assigning the bug to somebody else would indeed be difficult). I just tried logging in to BZ with some unprivileged account, submitted an issue, and did subsequent changes to it - which all went fine. So I am somewhat clueless about this problem. Can you confirm that you can edit the Product, Component, Version, Platform, Priority, URL, Whiteboard, Keywords, Depends on, Blocks, Status fields of the issue - in the sense that the respective fields are list boxes or edit fields? What exact changes do you try to do? Does just adding a comment still work, or is there more you attempt to change? And yes, I think this is basically caused by some problem with your BZ privileges, or some BZ setup, but I have no concrete idea so far.
