Hi all, was wondering if there are examples of using permanent ID tracking:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Overpass_API/Permanent_ID I've been mulling over how to do this for some time now. My use case is: a school district has a list of 15 schools. They have all the updated information. They keep this information in a website to show to people, an they want to share it in ISM and keep it updated in OSM. How can they be notified of a change? How would they make a change on their website and then sync that data back over to OSM? Thanks for any ideas or referenes. Happy to read more. One intermediary step I am working on now is pulling a bounding box for the schools and identifying these schools by the combination of location and tags and unique identifies lik the name. If anyone has a current case like this and would like to share some scripts for osmosis they would be most welcome. Alex
