Actually it was only broken for about 16 hours and it was fixed nearly

While we’re at it, the search bar no longer jumps directly to a matching
page title; it always goes to the search results page. Is that intentional?
No idea, you'd need to ask Grant.
Unless it relies on an external component (like the diff does) then it's
unlikely the OS upgrade on Friday changed it.
