There is already throttling based on other aspects of the requests to the tileservers (specifically, IP address). So you might be seeing that. > Of course this can also be due to other issues. Yep, the tileservers have been overloaded recently too. You're most likely to notice when you get slow or missing requests at high zoom levels.
