And that message is probably why the OP (in his words) "downloaded and
installed newer versions of autoconf, automake and m4", the autoconf version
which still fails shown to be 2.67.
Madhav, if you unpack the ovs tree into a virgin directory, does autoconf
2.67 work? If so, likely something broken from the older autoconf run was
left behind, and it might be good to make an archive of the failing
directory to use for debugging it.
