Does it exist an OvS command that returns the port number from port name?


Yes ovs-vsctl -- get Iterface portname ofport

P.S. the flow command is  ovs-ofctl add-flow bridge_name "in_port=port_number 
tp_src=67 tp_dst=68 actions=drop"
