Thank you Pasi.

I've done some testing for OVS and made some presentable document for
test-cases to Multicast validating scenarios and also trying to dig in for
answers or probably dive into the code. As I did not have idea where to post
the document or upload on openvswitch.og, thought to ask someone on the list
who has prior experience.

For now I would like to be on the testing side for OVS Community and linking
up with Openstack.
Small change to the query is to have "different network within the same
tenant".

My original question was:

Subject: OVS 2.3.90 Multicast to different Subnets

Greeting,

I’ve been following up OpenVSwitch threads lately and sounds pretty much
interesting.
Do appreciate all those who are helping out to the community. Hopefully
would join soon the bandwagon of OVS community to contribute.

My interest lies in testing and getting a solution out from OVS to Openstack
community on Multicast areas.
And wanted to know if there is any provision to test the scenarios of
Sending the Multicast packets from One subnet to another subnet having the
Neutron Router. I know for sure that the Multicast works with-in the same
subnet with OVS, but wanted some way to forward those packets on to other
subnet connected to the same router (neutron router). I tried to look up on
PIM (SM/DM) support on Openstack and was not able to get anything from
there.

I know experts over OVS has greater knowledge and hence posting this
question here.

e.g Multicast Sender VM is on 192.x.x.x network and would like to receive
the packets on 20.x.x.x.

[This diagram is best viewed with Courier New Font size 10]
+ +--------+ + +
|-------| Router |<---->|192.   |20.
|P +--------+ |168. |10.
|u ^ |x. |x.
|b | |x |x.
|l           +----------------->|
|i |
|c +
|
+

Appreciate any directions to the above mentioned scenario.

Hmm.. what was that query?
