Hi Matthias; AFAIK, Apache-6 pom ( http://repo2.maven.org/maven2/org/apache/apache/6/apache-6.pom) defines repositories for nexus. Release guy must define username, password into its settings.xml to use those repositories and also remove distributionManagement section from pom. After that normal reşeasing procedures work.
