After taking a closer look the fix is very simple:
org.apache.webbeans.util.WebBeansConstants.WEB_BEANS_XML_IF_SYSTEM_PROPERTY has
a superfluous blank at the end. It should read:
public static final String WEB_BEANS_XML_IF_SYSTEM_PROPERTY =
"if-system-property";
