Hi Felix, Is requesting the site be creation another INFRA ticket (assume yes) and if so I can open it. Is the result a unique server for us? or like the incubator project pages, are we another "site" under some exiting server.
Also, we would eventually need to automate publishing via GitHub webhooks (pushes); would this be dome configuring GitHub Jenkins (and somehow add Apache server credentials for the copy to the hosting server) <or> would that be requesting that an Apache Jenkins be setup somehow which would "pull" changes and where we would need to create machine credentials within GitHub? Kind regards, Matt From: Felix Meschberger <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Date: 02/05/2017 10:33 AM Subject: Re: DNS URL redirect request for OpenWhisk Incubator website Hi all Given the link in the issue ( https://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/pmcs#websites < https://www.apache.org/foundation/marks/pmcs#websites>) I propose to thus target openwhisk.[incubator.]apache.org and redirect from openwhisk.io < http://openwhisk.io/>. This means Adobe infrastructure must be used for building and hosting the site. Given that currently we are working on migrating the repositories, I would postpone this until that migration is done. In the short-term to have the domain openwhisk.incubator.apache.org < http://openwhisk.incubator.apache.org/> responding, I propose to request the site be created and I would just configure it to redirect. Thoughts ?
