This news just came out within the last couple hours so it’s unknown. I
started a thread in the slack channel to discuss. The faq explains that
Apache open source software dependent on Akka will be granted special
licenses to continue developing against it, however it doesn’t go into
detail on what the implications are for a corporation if they were to use
OSS with an Akka dependency in production.

With that being said, all Akka releases up until now you will always be
able to use without a commercial license.
