All, For Iceberg, it would be convenient to be able to annotate the types in the ORC file footer. ORC-522 <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ORC-522> does that. Since it lightly touches the protobuf, it would be good to have someone look at the pull request. <https://github.com/apache/orc/pull/410>
