I'll start with the most important:
** We're merging the set branch back into the trunk Thursday morning **
Please be around and on irc and paying attention Thursday and Friday to
help with any merge related problems and critical regressions!

We've now run through all of the acceptance tests on the branch. As of
yesterday evening, we had two significant problems:
+ John hasn't yet written the code to throttle down multiple
notifications; too many notifications being handled by the ui causes
serious performance problems. (This is a problem in the trunk as well,
one of the goals of the set work is to set us up to solve this problem).
+ We have several bugs related to filtered collections in the sidebar
not quite yet working properly.
John, Ted, and others working on the branch are going to focus on these
problems today (as well as any other [SetBranch] bugs they have time for).
The general consensus is that we'd like to get the branch code into the
trunk sooner rather than later, so we're going to do the merge even if
not all of the acceptance tests have passed. Unless today goes
particularly badly, we're going to do the merge Thursday morning.
After we do the merge, all remaining [SetBranch] bugs become critical
regressions -- we'll hold the milestone for these bugs.
