if you only want to customize a part of the setting, the syntax is different,
otherwise you need the full thing.
Try this:
$Self->{CustomerCompany}->{CustomerCompanySearchFields} = ['customer_id',
'name', 'as400', 'brand‘];
$Self->{CustomerCompany}->{Map} = […];
