Hi Andrew, How does this interact with the ongoing versioning discussion? Given that new encodings are not forward compatible, I would assume ALP is included in Parquet V<next> (V3?), but it's not clear to me how that works if it's merged to the parquet-format master branch now. Will we exclude this change when cutting parquet-format v2.14.0?
