I'm not sure we want parquet.io to directly serve the Apache Parquet site. In general, Apache projects have their site at foo.apache.org, and not some other domain. I don't know for sure if this is a "100% must be this way" policy, or just the status quo.
Do you guys want to bring this up with the ASF? Or should we just have parquet.io redirect (ie 302) to parquet.i.a.o? -Todd On Tue, Aug 12, 2014 at 11:10 AM, Julien Le Dem <[email protected]> wrote: > Yeah, > I suspect there is a virtual host configured on the machine hosting > parquet.incubator.apache.org. > Just pointing the DNS at it will not be enough to get the right site > published there. > Github provides a mechanism to configure this: > https://github.com/Parquet/parquet.github.com/blob/master/CNAME > So there would be a need for a similar mechanism to get the virtual host to > serve parquet.io as well. > > > On Tue, Aug 12, 2014 at 10:38 AM, Dmitriy Ryaboy <[email protected]> > wrote: > > > To point parquet.io?
