The IPMC vote to release 1.6.0 has officially passed and I've uploaded
the release tarball. You can find everything here:

I've also pushed the release tag, apache-parquet-1.6.0-incubating.
I just submitted a PR to update the version of master for development of
1.7.0 and I'll be working as quickly as possible to get the rename done
so that we can branch for a 1.7.0 release and start merging pull
requests again.
Thanks for being patient on these releases, everyone. Luckily, we only
have to do a rename once.
