Hi Andreas,

When will be the PDFbox next release? For the next release, please include as
many bug fixes as possible (e.g. PDFBOX-1419 / PDFBOX-1402). I am so anticipate
for the next major release because my current development was stopped for the
reason of bugs in Rev. 1.7.1. Thank you for your consideration.
We don't have a strict timetable, so that I can't tell when the next major/minor release will be available. If you are interested in the newest PDFBox code you may wanna build your own version from the trunk [1]

Best Regards,
Joe

Subject: Apache PDFBox October 2012 board report due

Hi,

find attached a quick draft of the board report we're expected to submit this
month (tomorrow, sorry for my lateness).

Any comments, objections or additions?

<draft>

The Apache PDFBox library is an open source Java tool for working with PDF
documents.

General Comments
----------------

There are no issues that require Board attention.

Community
---------

It was a quiet quarter but there is still a steady stream of contributions and
bug reports from the community. No new committers/PMC members.

--------

PDFBox 1.7.1 was released on 25th of July 2012

Development:
------------

The development on the next mayor release is still in progress. We are
currently working on

- improved font handling
- improved rendering
- refactoring + improved integration of xmpbox
- bugfixing

Eric finished the refactoring of the preflight module. Guillaume is still
working on the xmpbox module.
