Andreas

Thanks for getting back to me. I added a reference to the PDFBox mailing lists to the hackathon page.

I hope the level of interest in the hackathon (over 150 registered participants) will encourage your development team to prioritize issues related to PDF text and table extraction.

Regards,
Marc

Hmm, I can only speak for myself. Unfortunately I wont have the time to participate. Furthermore most of the active devs are located in an european timezone which may be a problem too. But I'll try to answer questions if they show up on our mailing lists.

there is any other information about PDFBox you would like me to post
on the hackathon resource page, please advise.
We are interested in as many feedback as possible. If there are an issues, contact our mailing lists and/or file a bug report (please check if there is already one targeting your problem). We are happy to integrate bugfixes or improvements to PDFBox as well.

Our documentation isn't detailed but there is some. Have a look at the provided examples to get an idea on how to do things using PDFBox.

Links to all those resources can be found on our website.

Thanks!
Thanks for contacting us and sorry for being not much of a help (I'm speaking for myself only).
