Hi, would you think that https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PDFBOX-1512 (TextPositionComparator is not compatible with Java 7) should potentially be handled. Although I haven’t received feedback on it I could move forward implementing it to reflect other PDF readers handle positions. But I wouldn’t be able to start working on it before the week after next.
