These are some options:
- do nothing
- mention the {{-Xss2m}} in the usage and in the javadoc
- implement an iterative quicksort ([will be 
slower|http://stackoverflow.com/questions/12553238/quicksort-iterative-or-recursive])
- implement mergesort, which was used in older JDK versions (the assumption 
being that the transitivity problem won't hurt a classic implementation)
