Marco Monacelli commented on PDFBOX-3548:
-----------------------------------------
The problem not are on subfilter, ETSI.CAdES.detached are subfilter for
PADES-BES level signature and 90% of our signatur are Pades-BES.
we loaded a file that works well done with the same procedure
Only diff vs standard signature are additional filed on signature dictionary
"biometric_data".
if open UnixSignature1.pdf with Acrobat XI is correct, recognize the signature
and if save a file, it are identical of original.
If open UnixSignature1.pdf with current Acrobat Reader DC in not recognize a
signature end if save a file are serialize only original document.
The most imporant question is, why the UnixSignature1 is not recognized and
UnixSignatureWorkFine created with some procedure is recognize ?
It could be a symptom of some inconsistency.
> Adobe Reader fails to detect PDFBox-generated signature of specific PDF

> We use PDFBox to generate signatures. We have no problem with the majority of
> PDF.
> But we have a PDF that produces an unexpected result.
> If I open the file with PDFBox is signed, if I open it with Acrobat does not
> appear signed. as if acrobat ignore revisions.
> We enclose the original file and file the signed file.
