I learned yesterday from Sonar that when using switch(string), string
may not be null, even if there's a default. (And this applies to all
switches, not just those with string). I went through all recent jdk7
commits and luckily only those from yesterday are relevant. I mention
this just in case I'm not the only one who is surprised.
